Solution M
Solution M aims to help children learn math through classes that utilize play and games. Through these methods, Solution M strategies focus on eliminating children’s aversion to mathematics while also building their cooperation and communication skills in the form of group activities.
What is Solution M’s Goal?
Critical Thinking
Help children improve their critical thinking skills via mathematical concepts (ie, logic, structure, rigor, generalization). Critical thinking is an essential tool for other subjects and when children make their own decisions in life.
Everyday Math
Utilizing the mathematical concepts learned, children will be able to think logically and apply their calculation skills to everyday life.
Making Math Fun
By familiarizing and gamifying math, we make math fun and enjoyable for children. This allows them to develop their confidence in math without perceiving it as a ‘difficult’ subject.
Communication & Cooperation
Encourage children to improve communication & collaboration to reach common goals with other children by participating in group activities and learning.
Solution M Structure
01
Level Test
• A level test is conducted to gauge each student’s level and help tailor their learning steps.
• Increase students’ learning efficiency by studying with students of a similar level.
02
Concept Session
• Teachers will systematically teach concepts through explanation and demonstration.
• Children will be encouraged to participate in activities that help understand new math concepts.
03
Activity Session
• Children will apply the concepts they learned in individual and group activities, through play and games.
• Each concept will have at least 1 activity session.
04
Confirmation Test
• A confirmation test is conducted to confirm students’ understanding at the end of each unit.
• If a student has not sufficiently understood a lesson, additional assignments will be provided to encourage more comprehensive learning
